1. Who we are
Call Me Ready (“we”, “us”) provides a Chrome extension and a companion web app that generates meeting briefs from public LinkedIn profile content. Call Me Ready is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and the authentication credentials you provide (password hash managed by our auth provider, or Google OAuth identifier).
- Profile context you enter: optional fields such as your role, company, and what you sell — used to tailor briefs.
- LinkedIn profile text, only when you click the “Prep for Meeting” button on a specific profile. The extension reads visible text from that profile page in your browser and sends it to our servers to generate a brief.
- Generated briefs: the AI-generated markdown output, saved to your account history so repeat views don’t re-charge the model.
- Basic logs: timestamps, error traces, and request metadata needed to operate the service.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not read, scrape, or transmit LinkedIn content in the background. Data is only read from a profile page when you explicitly click the Call Me Ready button on that page.
- We do not collect your LinkedIn credentials, cookies, or session tokens.
- We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build cross-user profiles.
- We do not monitor your general browsing. The extension only activates on
linkedin.compages you open yourself.
4. How we use data
We use the data above to (a) authenticate you, (b) generate meeting briefs on demand, (c) show you your own brief history, and (d) operate, secure, and improve the service. Profile text you submit is passed to our AI model provider strictly to generate the requested brief.
5. Subprocessors
We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run Call Me Ready:
- Supabase — authentication, database, storage.
- Cloudflare Workers — serverless request handling.
- Google Gemini (via Lovable AI Gateway) — brief generation.
Each subprocessor receives only the data required for its function.
6. Retention & deletion
Account data and briefs are retained while your account is active. You can delete any saved brief from your dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at privacy@callmeready.app. We will process the request within 30 days.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure; please report suspected vulnerabilities to privacy@callmeready.app.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us at privacy@callmeready.app to exercise these rights.
9. Changes
We will update the “last updated” date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
